How many remember learning to swim or have watched kids learning to swim. The kids stand at the edge of the pool and the instructor says “jump … I’ll catch you.” With a bit of coaxing, they jump, and the instructor catches them.
In a way, life is like swimming, you can get all of the instruction in the world, but sooner or later you have to jump in and give it a try. We will be looking at three passages from the Bible. Jonah who went from running to getting swallowed, Peter who went for an exciting walk until he began to sink, and finally we look at swimming in Revelation.
