This Sunday is the last Sunday before we enter into the season of Lent.
Luke 9:28-36 reveals Jesus in a “mountain top experience”.
This passage is often referred to as “The Transfiguration” because Jesus is transfigured (or changed into something more beautiful) right before His disciple’s eyes.
He shines radiant in glory with Moses and Elijah at His side and they talk about His crucifixion and the fulfilment that it will bring.
Jesus has just finished predicting His death and is now found being prepared for this great act of glory.
