How many of us growing up have said, “but that isn’t fair” only to be told “life isn’t fair”?
It’s a hard lesson to learn , but it is true, “life isn’t fair”.
Well, the Good News is, Jesus addresses this in our passage (John 16:16-33).
Our passage closes this way:
“I have told you these things so that you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
What a relief it is to know Jesus has overcome this world, as unfair and troublesome as it can sometimes be.
Come celebrate God’s goodness and love as we worship together as a family of faith.
