This Sunday as we light the candle of peace in our second week of Advent we will be reading Mark 1 :1-8.
John the Baptist is preparing the way for the Prince of Peace, Jesus the Christ.
Peace is something we all long for, and the world could certainly use more of.
Only God in Christ provides true and lasting peace.
Jesus has quite a bit to say about peace, we’ll take a look at the peace of Christ as we worship God and prepare for the inbreaking of the Kingdom of God at Christmas.
Come praise, worship, light candles, and pray as we journey to the birth of our Lord.
