Luke 24:13-35 is a metaphor for life.
We walk along, trying to make sense of all that has happened, and then we realize Jesus is right there with us clearly explaining it to us.
We’ve all likely felt what the disciples felt in Luke 24, a little confused and uncertain.
And along comes Jesus to open our eyes and make sense of it all.
The more I think about it, the more this passage is the story of my life.
Only Jesus can offer meaning.
He is the only one worthy of our praise and adoration in any kind of lasting way.
Come worship as we celebrate the goodness of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
