Have you ever noticed that a hand clenched tightly around something cannot easily reach out and take hold of someone else’s hand?
Sometimes, we spend so much of our lives holding on—to our money, our time, our comfort, our plans—that we forget what God can do when we open our hands and our hearts.
This Sunday, we’re discovering a beautiful truth: God never blesses us simply so that we can keep the blessings to ourselves. He blesses us so that we can become a blessing to others!
In 2 Corinthians 9, Paul reminds us that generosity is about far more than what we put in an offering plate. It’s about the way we live, the love we share, the needs we notice, and the hands we extend to those around us.
And here’s the exciting part: you don’t have to be rich to be generous. Sometimes, the greatest gift you can give someone costs nothing at all—a listening ear, an encouraging word, a little of your time, or a simple act of kindness that reminds them they are not forgotten.
What if the miracle someone is praying for is waiting on the other side of your willingness to reach out?
Join us this Sunday at Living Faith Community Presbyterian Church as we discover how God can take what we have, multiply its impact, and use our ordinary acts of generosity to accomplish extraordinary things for His kingdom.
Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that a life held tightly may keep its blessings—but a life opened generously can change the world, one person at a time!
Let’s worship together, grow together, and keep reaching out in the love of Jesus!
