Deep Roots

Our Sermons

What happens when the storms of life come?

A tree with shallow roots may look beautiful on a sunny day. But when the wind begins to blow and the rain stops falling, its true strength is revealed.

The same is true of our faith.

We can look strong on the outside while feeling empty on the inside. We can sing the songs, attend church, and smile at others, yet struggle when life brings unexpected challenges.

In Jeremiah 17, God gives us a powerful picture of two lives: one like a dry bush in the desert, and the other like a tree planted beside a stream, with roots reaching deep into the water.

Here is the beautiful truth: the tree still faces heat and drought. The difference is that its roots reach a source that never fails.

God never promised us a life without storms. He promised us something better: a life rooted in Him, sustained by His presence, and strengthened by His faithfulness.

This Sunday, we’ll discover how to grow Deep Roots — a faith that stands firm when life shakes us, remains fruitful through difficult seasons, and keeps trusting God when we cannot see what lies ahead.

Because the secret to standing strong is not having a storm-free life. It is having roots that go deep into God.

🌿 Come and discover what it means to be deeply rooted, firmly planted, and fully trusting in the Lord!

Join us after our service for a time of fellowship in Celebration Hall, we would love to get to know you better!
