In mark 7:24-30 we have a fascinating interaction between Jesus and a Syrophoenician woman.
Jesus has left home for some peace and quiet to the north and then in steps this desperate woman in need.
Talk about a strange story, there is mention of dogs and demons and a young child and crumbs of bread.
It takes a bit of effort to understand all that Jesus is talking about here.
Short answer – the Kingdom of God is for everyone and everyone gets fed with the bread of life that is Jesus Christ.
