This week we will be looking at Mark 7:1-23.
Here Jesus looks at the topic of defilement,
To defile is to mar or spoil something, make it less beautiful or pure.
Once again the Pharisees and some teachers of the law are testing Jesus and coming at Him quite harshly by questioning Him about certain things.
Jesus very quickly turns the tables on them and has some questions of His own.
By the end of the passage it is clear that Jesus has much to teach, and it is He who ought to be asking the questions.
