Palm Sunday begins the most sacred and holy week in the life of the Church.
Mark 11:1-11 recounts Jesus’ final entry into Jerusalem before His crucifixion.
In comes Jesus with the waving of freshly cut branches from the fields, coats thrown down to the ground like a makeshift carpet, and shouts of “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”.
It was quite the scene.
But is it a celebration or more of a dirgelike march?
