The parting of the waters at the Red Sea is the pre-eminent act of deliverance in the Old Testament.
Our passage for this Sunday ( Exodus 14:5-31) recounts this dramatic miracle.
Verse 14 reads, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.”
With God anything is possible.
God is forever working on our behalf, including sometimes even fighting for us.
We all have a choice; we can focus on the seen difficulties in life, or the “unseen” God.
May we choose wisely and faithfully.
May God continue to bless us richly as we journey through the book of Exodus and the life of Moses.
