This week at Living Faith we will be looking at Exodus 16:2-19.
God provides food to the travelling Israelites on a day to day … morning by morning … basis.
They are told not to try to store it up for the next day’s use (except once a week in preparation for the Sabbath when it is allowed permitting them to have a full day’s rest every 7 days).
Some of the people disobey God and go their own way.
When God gives us direction it is best to simply trust and obey.
Trusting and obeying are not things that come easily to human beings.
We fancy ourselves pretty clever much of the time, however clever we may be God wants us to surrender completely to Him and trust in Him totally.
Jesus did and we are called to do the same.
