What can a dinner guest do? Jesus and friends were invited to an after church dinner at the home of Simon-Peter. When they arrived they found Peter’s mother-in-law in her bed ill from the effects of a fever. Jesus went in to see her, took her hand and the fever left. Marks tells us that she was well enough to leave her bed and serve them all dinner. Healing, can the church, the hands and feet of Jesus, heal in the 21st Century?
