This week we look at what is not so much a “troubling text” as it is an interesting one.
In Acts 2:36-41 we have a response to the statement “Jesus is Lord and Messiah”.
And the response is one of repentance and initiation (baptism).
It never ceases to amaze me how much can be revealed in just a few short verses of scripture.
A brief statement of faith (verse 36) cuts to the heart of the people (verse 37) and they are then drawn to respond in a powerful way (verse 41).
Come worship as we continue to explore the great and saving love of God in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
