This Sunday we will be looking at Jesus’ arrest from Luke 22:47-53.
As Jesus is being apprehended Peter draws a sword and cuts the ear off a servant of the high priest.
Jesus quickly tells his disciples to stop and heals the mans ear by touching it.
The way of the Lord is often in opposition to the way of the world.
Jesus reminds us that we live in this world … but we are not of this world.
His ways are literally “out of this world”.
As always worship starts at 10:30 in person and online.
