This Sunday in week 2 of our walk through the book of Acts we come to perhaps the best known passage from the book.
The day of Pentecost as recounted in Acts 2:1-21 is right up there with some of the most powerful and dramatic displays of God’s power and might.
The disciples are infused with the Holy Spirit, tongues of fire rest on them, and they speak in various languages allowing everyone there to understand them.
Talk about a memorable scene.
God acts in a decisive way ensuring that His message is not “lost in translation”.
God still speaks and acts in this way today … often more quietly and subtly.
Come be a part of it as we celebrate God’s continued presence in the world.
