We continue to celebrate new and everlasting life this Easter season as we look at John 15:1-17.
Jesus paints this beautiful picture of a vine and gardener, where God is the loving gardener.
Through Lent we had vines in our worship space representing how the concerns of this world often encroach upon us and hold us back.
Just as Jesus transformed the cross of death into something life giving, here in John 15 He takes vines and turns them into a beautiful image of connection with God.
Jesus is forever transforming that which appears hopeless and constricting into something freeing and life giving.
Jesus changes everything.
