Apples and umbrellas are easy to describe, but what about hope? Hope is a little harder to explain to someone. Could it be trusting that things will turn out okay, even when we don’t feel good about it? Could hope be that little flicker of light that shines even in the darkest spots? Our scripture will be taken from Isaiah 2:1-5 and Romans 5:3-8.
On this first Sunday in Advent, we’ll light the candle of HOPE.
Please remember to bring in your hats mittens and scarves to participate in our Annual Hat, Scarf, and Mitten Toss during our Family Time. We hope you’ll join us as we listen to Carolyn Morris’ lesson on Hope.
