We open the season of Advent with Matthew 24:36-44.
These verses remind us that Advent is not just about the baby Jesus coming.
Advent also reminds us of the future return of Christ at the end of time as we know it.
This second coming of Christ is one of our greatest hopes.
The season of Advent enables us to prepare and to celebrate not only what Christ has done but what He will do … spoiler alert … the best is yet to come.
Come celebrate as we worship and share in Communion, join us after our service for a soup and bun lunch.
