This Sunday is Transfiguration Sunday, the last Sunday before we enter into the season of Lent.
In our passage (Luke 9:28-36) we see Jesus transfigured or transformed, shining radiantly in the glory of God.
Jesus is about to embark on His journey to the cross in a new and intentional way.
This week represents a hinge point in Jesus’ ministry as He turns His gaze towards the cross and His crucifixion.
