This week’s Scriptures, Psalm 8, 2 Corinthians 13, and Matthew 28, fit together like pieces of a simple, beautiful story. Psalm 8 reminds us that God created us with care and purpose. Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians encourage us to live in God’s love and peace as a community. And in Matthew 28, Jesus sends us out into the world with a mission and the promise that He will be with us every step of the way.
All three passages point to this truth: We are created by God, shaped by God’s love, and sent with Jesus’ presence.
