This week we take a look at the first of two “Biblical meltdowns”.
We begin with 1 Kings 19:1-9 with Elijah and then in two weeks it’s Peter’s denial of Jesus in Luke 22.
(Patrick Voo is here again next week as Rev. Tait is off after serving at General Assembly – the annual meeting of our National Church- in Waterloo.)
So, we begin with Elijah this week, and after a huge victory he is depressed and wishes he was dead.
Talk about a turn of events.
You would think that Elijah would be riding a high after showing up the 450 prophets of Baal, but no.
Sometimes we’re just wiped out and out of gas.
Thankfully, whatever our role in God’s plan, big or small, He always sustains us.
Come worship as we celebrate God’s goodness and love, including Communion.
It all starts online and in person at 10:30 and, all are welcome.
