I enjoy Word Search puzzles … looking for a list of words in a block of seemingly random text. At the beginning, words jump out at me in no set order, but after a bit, it can become harder to locate the words. I have a couple of techniques I use to unstick my brain. Sometimes I look for the words spelled backwards, other times I turn the block of letters upside down, or sideways. This change of perspective forces my brain to work harder and see things I might have missed.
The importance of perspective in our walk as Christians can’t be overstated. It influences how we interpret our experiences, how we interact with others, and our relationship with God. The Bible urges us to approach life with all of it’s complexities, trials and joys, from God’s perspective.
This Sunday, we will look at God’s call to view life from His point of view. In Isaiah 55, God says … “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” … And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine …
In Romans 12 Paul urges us to, “… let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
