“Morning by morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; morning by morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” Psalm 5:1

I came across this verse as I was going through my bible that I had in college. I have written beside it, “first verse read in chapel.” I wish I could say I have prayed every morning. Yes, there have been mornings that I have missed.

My sense as I speak with people, is that there are a whole lot more people praying now. It is interesting how people reach out to God more when a crisis is unfolding. After 9/11 churches were full again … for a while. I am already thinking about what our church service will be like when we are able to gather again.

My prayer for you today is, “Lord God, the request I lay before you this morning, is this, give a blessing to my family and friends today. May they know the blessing came from you. In Jesus name, Amen.”

thank you Jane… praying as often as I can – and meaning it! blessings to all who need His blessings at this time and for a full church once we see our way clear.
