This week we wrap up our very brief 2 week journey with Paul.
In 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 Paul stresses the importance of preaching Christ crucified.
He stresses how this is often seen as a stumbling block and sometimes even foolishness.
For Paul, and many other theologians, the cross is the central act of Christ.
According to Paul, it is imperative that we share the saving and sacrificial love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord on the cross.
Indeed it is the most important message of them all.
It is the very wisdom and heart of God.
Come worship as we consider these teachings of Paul.
