This week at Living Faith we welcome Rev. Keith Boyer as Rev. Jonathan Tait enjoys a few more days of holidays. A small reminder that we will only be meeting online again this week. There is NO indoor service.
We will be focusing on the contrast between the joy and peace of
Christmas (‘when God is a child’) with the early warning sign in the Gospel of
Matthew’s birth story that opposition, rejection, and violence were present in
Jesus’ life from the beginning. Matthew’s story sets the stage for Good Friday. But
there is also the witness that no opponent can stop God’s purpose.
