This Sunday we will start a three week sermon series on “David – A man after God’s own heart.”
David was a fascinating man who was mostly good and faithful, and yet also a little confused and selfish at other times.
Somehow, he always seemed to come around to being faithful.
We will look at David building the temple, fighting Goliath, “stealing” Bathsheba, and repenting of his wrongdoing.
His life was a series of ups and downs for God.
Our passage for Sunday is 1 Chronicles 29:1-2 and 6-13.
I find David inspirational, and I think there is a little David in all of us.
