This week we will be looking at the Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15:11-32.
This Parable is the Gospel in a nutshell.
It reminds us that God loves us no matter what, and that God is forever waiting for us to return home to Him.
God always has His arms open wide awaiting our return to His loving embrace.
We are the ones that sometimes put things in the way of God and us, not Him.
This for sure is our greatest comfort, knowing God is forever there for us with a loving embrace and all the provisions we could ever imagine.
This Sunday we will also celebrate Communion, another example of God calling us home to be with Him.
Come home, come worship.
